What to expect when creating your first campaign
Different notification types have different data requirements and timing. Recent Orders and Top Selling can use historical data but need an initial sync. Other types start collecting data after you activate the theme extension. Static notifications work immediately with no data needed.

Recent Orders & Top Selling
- Can use historical data from before app installation
- Initial data sync may take 30 minutes to a few hours
- After sync completes, notifications work faster
- If you just installed: Be patient during first sync
Product Views & Add to Cart
- Data collection starts AFTER you:
- Add Account ID to theme extension
- Activate theme extension in theme editor
- Only data collected after activation is used
- If your store has low traffic: Fewer notifications until data builds up
- These types need visitors browsing your store to collect data
Static Notifications
- Works immediately (no data collection needed)
- Shows static messages you configure
- Perfect for stores with low traffic
What You'll See
- First notification appears 5-10 minutes after campaign goes Live
- Notifications show every few seconds (based on global settings)
- Each notification displays for 5 seconds by default
- Check theme extension is activated
- Verify Account ID matches in extension settings
- Wait longer (up to 30 minutes for first sync)
